大学院理学研究科 生命科学専攻 ⽣体物質機能解析学部門 ⽣体物質化学Ⅱ分野

3.研究分野:
哺乳類細胞を⽤いた細胞の動的調節機構の研究に、広い視野から意欲的に取り組んでいただける⽅。研究遂⾏に必要な細胞⽣物学・分⼦⽣物学・⽣化学的解析⼿法に精通し、着任後吉⽥教授と協⼒して研究を推進していただける⽅。

4.教 育:
大学院理学研究科および理学部において、学生実験(分析化学実験と培養細胞を⽤いた細胞⽣物学実験)および研究指導に参加していただきます。

5.応募資格:
着任時に博士の学位を有し、上記の研究・教育を行うのに十分な業績と熱意をお持ちの方。(2027年3月末までに博士学位取得見込みも可。)

6.着任時期: 2027年4月1日(予定)

7.任 期:
5 年(再任をする場合は、1回を原則とし、再任後の任期は5年とする。)ただし、就任中に優秀な業績があり、かつ能力を有する者については、再任後学内の選考により講師(任期無し)に昇任できる制度があります。

Graduate School of Science, University of Hyogo invites applications for a full-time, non-tenured Assistant Professor position. University of Hyogo is actively promoting diversity and inclusion. 1. Position:
A full-time, non-tenured Assistant Professor position.

2. Affiliation:
Molecular Biochemistry, Division of Functional Analysis of Biomolecules, Department of Life Science, Graduate School of Science, University of Hyogo.

3. Research field:
We encourage applicants who will study dynamic regulation of cellular function in mammalian cells from a broad and unique perspective and who are well versed in state-of-the-art techniques of cell biology, molecular biology and biochemistry. The applicants are expected to collaborate with Professor Yoshida to promote their research.

4. Education duties:
The successful candidate is expected to conduct the following educational duties.
1) Experimental training on life science for undergraduates and graduate students of School of Science. Some of classes may be taught in English.
2) Support of research supervision for master’s theses and Ph.D. dissertations.
3) English fluency sufficient to teach and guide international students is required.
Possible undergraduate courses to be taught include:
Laboratory Course in Chemistry (Experimental Training)
Laboratory Course in Life Science (Experimental Training)

5. Qualifications:
1. Doctoral degree (Or the degree should be conferred by March 31, 2027).
2. Demonstrated ability and willingness to participate in teaching Japanese and international undergraduate and graduate students.
3. Expertise and achievements in Life science research.

6. Start of term:
The term will start on April 1, 2027.

7. Employment status:
Full-time (non-tenured). A fixed term (5 years. Reappointment for another 5-year term is possible once). Those who demonstrate brilliant achievements and/or outstanding publications during the term can apply internal selection for promotion to senior lectures (tenured). The University of Hyogo has mandatory retirement at the age of 65 for this position.

3) Reprints or copies of research articles (max 3 articles)
4) Education experience, contributions to academic societies, and social activities (Form 3)
5) Summary of research (Form 4) — about 550 words (English) or 1,000 characters (Japanese). Figures and tables can be included.
6) Proposal for future research and education plans (Form 5) — about 550 words (English) or 1,000 characters (Japanese)

7) One recommendation letter from a recognized researcher. The letter can be sent with the other application materials but must be sealed off. Or, the recommender can directly send the letter via registered mail or via e-mail to the address shown in section 11.

The items from 1) to 6) should be submitted as printed materials as well as pdf files in a USB flash memory or in CD-ROM.
