The Watanabe lab at University of Massachusetts Medical School Post-doctoral position

The Watanabe lab at University of Massachusetts Medical School invites outstanding candidates to apply for a post-doctoral position to investigate the molecular mechanism of chromatin remodeling by ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling enzymes using various biochemical and biophysical techniques. We are interested in the structure and function of ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling enzymes, especially human SWI/SNF and SWR1/INO80 subfamilies of remodeling enzymes, and their roles in histone variant deposition in mammalian cells. Please note that our lab is currently located in a part of Dr. Craig Peterson’s lab.

Applicants should submit the following materials by email to Assistant Professor, Shinya Watanabe at shinya.watanabe@umassmed.edu: a letter describing current research activities and your interest in this position, a CV (including a complete list of publications), and contact information for three references, one of which should be your Ph.D. advisor.
